Aston Le Walls Friday

Back to Aston with the young horses for their last 100 before they step up to novice at Howick next week and Sammi in flying form! I did forecast that Kyrle was going to have allot more fun with Calcourt Verona ( Ringo) and she got to pick up her first red rosette at Aston with a 25.8 dressage which she added nothing to for the win.

Calcourt Valley ( Kevin) did a flashy 23 in his section and pulled out all the stops in the showjumping for a super round until he just tapped the last for 4 faults. He also made time cross country to finish up in 2nd spot and will have to bow to Girl Power on the day.

It's a marked improvement from getting time faults in the showjumping in gale force winds a few weeks ago! They really are two super young horses with a big future ahead of them and a great way to end their time in 100's.
